Textured Cake Trio by Sugar and Frosting, Keller TX Bakery

At S & F Weddings, Fort Worth wedding cake bakery we are seeing a definite increase in brides opting to do a grouping of cakes on the dessert table.  This option allows for multiple flavors, multiple wedding cake designs and more servings with a vintage feel and is certainly easier to serve!

Dallas Cowboy's Wedding by Sugar and Frosting

When S and F Weddings by Sugar and Frosting in Fort Worth Texas was approached by this June bride and groom to create a silver and navy wedding cake and grooms cake we were super excited! What could be more exciting for a dfw wedding cake bakery than to create the iconic Dallas Cowboys helmet and a brides cake to match!

Camo Cupcakes

The The staff at Sugar and Frosting, Fort Worth Bakery are not generally big fans of camouflage fashions however we do have fun with camo cakes and cupcakes!

This past weekend one of our customers ordered camo colored cake and frosting as a special order vanilla cupcake.  The bakers at Sugar and Frosting in Keller, TX colored buttercreams in brown, tan and white ahead of time in bags small enough to place 3 colors inside 1 pastry bag to get the striped color pattern you see below.  The batters were also colored, placed in pastry bags and squirted into each baking cup to fill 3/4 full.

Sugar and Frosting Lightening McQueen

This fun combination between Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater made such a fun design! At Sugar and Frosting Fort Worth Bakery animated movie cakes can be such fun!  This cake is a fondant iced design sitting on a fondant road edged in checkered pattern ribbon. We hope you enjoy it as well!

Splish Splash it's a 1st Birthday Bash

Sugar and Frosting, Keller, TX Bakery

At Sugar and Frosting, Fort Worth Bakery we love babies and 1st birthday cakes.  This one was particularly adorable and we wanted to share it with you.  The birthday cake and smash cake went together beautifully.  The parents of this little one brought in the rubber ducky topper while Sugar and Frosting created the cake iced in sky blue, with random blue, yellow and white dots as well as white fondant bubbles.  The smash cake was topped with a #1 making it the perfect photo opportunity.

Buttons and Bows Wedding Cake

This past weekend S and F Wedding Cake Studio did a navy blue and white version of our most requested wedding cake design for a wedding at Diamond Oaks Country Club. This is a personal favorite for our pastry chef Melody Fitzgerald as it was Sugar and Frosting's first wedding cake dummy over 4 years ago in those grass roots days.  What a crazy road of growth, fun and new things these past few years have been.  We love this cake and the brides we serve!

Strawberry Basil Lemonade Cupcake

Bold fresh strawberry, bright citrus and fragrant basil, oh the flavors of summer! Ok, so we know it's not yet summer and the fact that the cold weather seems to be holding on for dear life must be the reason for our staff at Sugar and Frosting's passion for this fresh new Strawberry Basil Lemonade Cupcake!
