Photos...

As a pastry chef now business owner my range of talents has certainly grown! In 1999 starting culinary school I believed I needed to know how to bake and decorate, create a menu and a prep list, maybe even order supplies.  Today I know how nieve I was! Management, hr, accountant, graphic designer, maintenance, interior design just to name a few of my new hats...  I love what I do however photography has been a disaster and a much needed skill to showcase our cake skills at Sugar and Frosting! We've been blessed with professional photographers along the way however on a randomn Tuesday when were not blessed with the luxury of a professional photographer and need to photograph a cake where do we turn? I'll tell you it hasn't been pretty!
That all changes today as the management at Sugar and Frosting begin cake photography classes online.  Below is a sample of the before and after! We hope this helps you see the beauty of the cakes your ordering : )
Before: This lovely cake was photographed at the venue with bad lighting and awful backgrounds.
After: we've learned to blur backgrounds and correct lighting! Just think what we can do with an improved original image!

Little Piggies by Sugar & Frosting

One of Sugar and Frosting's favorite regular customers Brittany ordered these little piggy cakes and cookies to pull together the most adorable pig inspired birthday party for her twin girls.  We just love how it all came together!
These are the individually wrapped pig face cookie favors! What a sweet treat for the guests!
An here's a pic of the full table as well!
It's so much fun to see pictures of the party coming together after the sweet treats leave Sugar and Frosting and arrive at the party!

Would you guess it's gluten free?

The staff at Sugar and Frosting, Keller, TX have been working hard coming up with a brand-new recipes for our customers and their family and friends with gluten intolerance and celiac's disease. Our goal is to provide a gluten-free product that doesn't taste like cardboard that does not taste any different than our already amazing, melt in your mouth treats. Many of the components of the sweet treats we offer are already naturally gluten-free, such as our caramel sauce, chocolate ganache, most of our buttercreams, fillings and more. We've altered our cake batters just slightly using gluten-free flours. Our customers can special order cupcakes and decorated cakes sure to wow all of their guests while being gluten-free.
Our newest and most surprisingly amazing gluten-free options are flourless chocolate brownies, and decadent gluten-free fudge cookies that will rival the best gluten filled cookie out there.
